A first aid guide for caregivers, an app that allows patients to track epilepsy trends, and 3 more top epilepsy and seizure apps for primary care.
According to the American Epilepsy Society, approximately 3 million people in the US have epilepsy with 1 in 26 people developing epilepsy or recurring seizures in their lifetime. Primary care physicians (PCPs) are often the first to evaluate patients with epilepsy and refer them to specialists, so it is important for PCPs to stay updated on the latest information and clinical tools. Our app reviewer selected 5 apps that PCPs can recommend to patients and caregivers to aid in epilepsy management and treatment.
