Better Hospital Outcomes with Younger Treating Physicians?

Can a physician's age affect treatment outcome? It did in this study of hospitalized elderly patients.

In this study, outcomes among hospitalized elderly patients had a direct correlation with the age of the treating physician. Several possibilities may explain this finding.
