This solid white 1.5 X 0.5 X 0.5 cm lesion had been present on the posterior edge of this 55-year old man’s tongue for almost a dozen years. He thought it had first developed after he bit his tongue: the lesion had never progressed and there were no signs of invasion. He now requests its removal.
